I haven’t commented in a while (although I’m still an avid reader of this blog) and this had brought me out of the woodwork. I mean. I too, was amazed by that split.

Wow, that woman on the left moves so beautifully!

  4. Bill, on April 10th, 2010 at 10:35 am Said:

Agreed on the split. But also, the part when all three crouch at 56 sec, then return to standing, shows quite a bit of leg strength and agility. Well done!

Ditto the splits! And dropping into the splits, even. That girl’s got it.

As one of the most inflexible people to ever exist, I envy anyone who can do the splits.

I love how they have very divergent interpretations of that one hand motion… it appears to be an ass-slap to one, a sort of floating ballerina wave to the second, and some hybrid of the two to the third.

You got to understand most big black women don’t have the hangs ups about weight that a lot of big white women do. Oprah is the exception not the norm.

Society and the fashion industry has always ignored black women so they never got feed the “skinny is in” message that white women are constantly bombard with. They knew it wasn’t them on the cover of Vogue, so they never could get brain washed into believing the hype. Being so, being big and beautiful isn’t an oxymoron in the black culture and big black women have never had a hard time finding a date within the black community. In fact you’ll find that those who are the most accepting of their fatness and their fabulous, tend to be black women.
