We Should Start Calling Them Barackybuttons! Bellybamas? No?
Happy Inauguration Day! The picture is an Obama-fied version of this picture, where I got all excited about the mountain and accidentally flashed my belly button. (I am also fond of the companion photo, which shows jenfu doing a little dance of some sort.)
I was going to say something profound about the belly button, and how it’s a body part that thin people show off and get pierced and so forth, but that fat people usually strive to hide, so that when I realized my belly button was showing in this picture, I got all embarrassed and almost didn’t upload it, even though clearly, come on, I am cute. Or I was going to make some kind of pun on the belly button being shaped like an O and O is for OBAMA and that’s good enough for me! But instead I am going to turn on CNN and watch the swearing in and basically do the belly button dance all over again. President Obama!

I am so excited about today too. The only way it could be better is if I could personally slam the door shut on W as he exits the white house.
Yay, I had a class that ran until 12:20 p.m., but the prof is letting us out at 11:30 a.m.! The fact that she’s wearing a t-shirt that reads “Joy” spelled out with an Obama-inspired logo says it all.
I used to know a guy that didn’t have a belly button! It was all spackled over and you could hardly see it! FREAK!!!
