A Life Of Crime
Something a little less cranky, courtesy of Jen Wade: college students steal copies of their school newspaper because there are pictures of them in the paper, and they think they look fat.
Says one of the students:
I just kind of got caught up in the moment and grabbed a whole bunch of copies.
Says one of the teachers:
This is the most stupid reason the paper has been stolen.
I have to say that I’ve taught college students of many different shapes and sizes, and I don’t think any of them really realize how beautiful they are.

Do they have a big problem with people stealing the campus paper? :) Now that I read the article I see that they do. Here is my question: If they thought their outfits were fine to be seen in the flesh why are the pictures different?

I don’t think ANY of us realize that.
I think it’s funny. If only I could steal some of my photos so that they wouldn’t show up anywhere. I’d bury those sucks forevah! lol!
Somehow the permanence of photos or video always seems more threatening.
Every college paper I’ve ever encountered has been free…
It’s still a crime to steal free newspapers, though.
