I’m proud to say that my friends and Big Fat Deal contributors Anne and Weetabix have started writing for a new group of websites for Conde Nast. Anne is writing Body of Work (a personal blog) and Weetabix is writing for Elastic Waist (a newsy site). The sites look great and I look forward to seeing them evolve and hopefully become wildly successful. (Even though Gawker doesn’t like the name.)

Although you may notice that Elastic Waist bears a resemblance to this very site (and that some of the links are the same) for the record, I have nothing to do with that site, have not been contacted or hired by Conde Nast, and source my own links independently. In fact, check out our different reactions to that New Woman poll! There’s clearly room on the big fat internet for both of us.
