I can’t decide: is this girl pretty or not? One day she’s chubby, the next she’s hot. It’s so hard to be judgmental when she’s not consistent!

Of course, we can all see the problem with this statement. She’s only “pretty” and “hot” if she’s not “chubby.” (And by “chubby” we mean by ridiculous Hollywood standards. So, what, size six?) The commenters jump right in and call her on it, though.

She’s definitely not chubby and even if she were, she could be chubby AND hot.

Please allow me to clear up all the confusion: Mandy Moore is always, always, always super hot — which is why her boring music and shitty movies make me so sad.

I am sorry… did we just call Mandy Moore chubby? Can I see evidence of this chub? The girl has never been more then a size 6 or 8 in her life. We should all be so chubby. (And I agree… she can’t be hot and chub?)

It’s shit like calling someone HER size “chubby” that makes ME feel crappy about myself. Sometimes I feel like I’d like to be friends with the MamaPop crew, but right now I feel like I wouldn’t meet approval.

I really have no opinions about Mandy Moore. I know she’s in a new movie with John Krasinski, but it’s got fake robot peeing babies in the trailer, and Robin Williams doing schtick, and I don’t think I can bring myself to see it. But I’m glad people are recognizing ridiculous statements like these (such as, chubby is only cute if you’re a baby) and speaking up about it.
