BFD Redesign!

As you may have noticed (at least if you’re not reading on a feed reader) BFD has just been given a facelift! Thanks to Jennette at Make My Blog Pretty for all her hard work, both on the front and the back end, to make the site look great.
The mudflap girl is a little heavier (yay!), the Fatosphere feed actually works, there’s some new stuff in the sidebar, and hopefully the change is not too scary for those of us who, like Garth Algar, fear change. Let me know if anything looks weird, if there’s a feature you long for in your hearts, or if there’s something we neglected to fix. Thanks for continuing to support the site! Group hug!

On my screen (Windows Explorer) the two mudflap girls at the top of the page have most of their heads cropped off.
Other than that, it looks good!
Susan, do you have an adblocker? That might be why; those two mudflap girls are only supposed to appear if there’s an ad up there. Let me know either way and I’ll look into it!

It loads up so much faster now! BFD used to be one of the sites on my rounds that took at least a minute or two to pack into my screen. Now it’s up in a flash.

Thanks! Yeah, I’m pretty sure the site was also moved to a new host, and the code was cleaned up a lot. I’m really happy with how it all turned out!

Yes – I’m viewing BFD at work (blushes) and we have “Content Keeper” which blocks most ads.

So pretty! I personally am a big fan of this new color scheme; the pink was off-putting for me, but the purple is PERFECT. And it’s all very readable now! (I had trouble with the pink and readability before.)
LOVE the new mudflap girl – she’s so sexy and more me-shaped now,which is always awesome.
Plus the tag line about mudflaps is up right now and I find that hilarious. You rock!
