That first one…wow. Nice to know it has opponents in the ob/gyn world. All the lectures in the world to parents-to-be won’[t give them a thin kid if fat runs in their families. (Having a thin mother didn’t make me a thin daughter, behavioral influences or not, because guys in my dad’s family don’t have thin daughters, or sons.)

Also, the ‘clean your plate’ thing? Was current at my school and plenty of others, and had zero effect on kid size.

If there were a law that so-called ‘government’ organizations had to have their sponsors listed in every piece of publicity, the NOF and its like would have long ceased to be taken seriously. I’m with Bree on Mr. Bumble, except I have a nasty feeling Fry would feed the little guy on diet skunk kibble, if there is such a thing.

4) If you do a google-fu on this guy, it’s another “I lost weight SO CAN YOU! >:D” diet creator. He talks about the BMI which is complete horsepoop. If someone had been fat at any point in their lives, shouldn’t they have more compassion for fat people after losing weight when they see from their now-thin privileged perspective, how shitty people treat us even though we’re all relatively harmless?

Okay, I’ve seen a skunk that big before. And it was a WILD skunk. This guy must have raided garbage cans for miles around, as well as eating cat food that people would leave out for those disgusting “community cats”. It’s not like anyone would hand feed it…who would get that close to a WILD, scented skunk?
I know that the skunk in the story was captive, unscented one, but geez – I’ve seen a wild skunk that would rival the size of this guy.

re ‘fattractive’…nope, not buying it. Kinda makes me think it’s shorthand for she’s fat, but yet surprisingly, still attractive. I’m pretty sure I’d recoil from the words ‘Blacktractive’ or ‘Jewtractive’ or any-other-tractive, so no, fattractive is a big old fail for me. Nice try tho, and I’m sure ‘meant well’ *sigh*.

BTW, I consider myself to be devastatingly, stunningly attractive. Fat, thin, or somewhere in between. So I don’t need an extra, made-up superlative thanks…I’m simply attractive.

Not a fan of “fattractive…” I agree with others who say it sounds like a synonym for “you’re hot for a fat chick.”
