This is what happens when we put REALLY YOUNG people out into the public eye. And it’s only getting worse, thanks to our obsession with all things youthful.
I wouldn’t be 15 again for all the money in the world. And that was back in the 80′s, before the press became the way it is now, before the internet and twitter and youtube and blah, blah, blah. Before every move you made could instantly be seen around the world.
The REALLY fun part of all this is that it allows all of us to behave as if we never left high school! Yay! (Note the heavy sarcasm.)

I liked Kelly’s appearance when she was bigger as well. But also, I’m not the boss of her. I think she’s cute!

Man, being fat and 15 was bad enough with just high school. Imagine having people all over the world mocking you for your weight, most of them adults who should know better. That’s BRUTAL.

I can’t get mad at Kelly (or any celebrity child) for what she does. Like she said, she didn’t ask to be born to her parents- none of us did. To have what must seem like the entire world, calling you names when you’re 15 must have been devastating. I know how fragile my ego was at that age. I don’t blame her for being messed up.

I think the Sydney Morning Herald was being sarcastic. The section that quote is from was poking fun at Australian gossip magazines (the Kelly Osborne story was in the magazine NW)for trotting out predictable diet stories just in time for our summer.

wls=more surgery so your parts don’t stay looking like an old mans balls imo.

I thought Kelly was cute chubby. This story makes me sad on many levels, I always thought she was stronger than to change herself to fit into other peoples ideals of beauty.

Doing it for yourself is one thing, doing it to be accepted by shallow asses, another entirely.
