@Steve_Buscemi, Thanks!
I’m not sure if Twitter’s Steve Buscemi is the real Steve Buscemi. But whether he is or not, I enjoyed this Tweet from him today, which I was pointed to by Nonk.
has always loved overweight women and pre-marriage was never ashamed of dating fat girls. Don’t hide her–she’s beautiful.
Immediately I had to go check out the responses:
You ALWAYS say such lovely things :) keep it up! WOMEN LOVE THAT KIND OF TALK ;)
I hope you’re not being facetious, because it would be wonderful if you weren’t.
I always knew you were a good man, Mr. Buscemi. Give us curvy women a chance!
Awww, that’s so sweet! You just went up a notch in my coolness book.
brilliant! Now we need someone to introduce fat characters who AREN’T Eddie Murphy or Gwyneth Paltrow in fatsuits to film
You just let me know there Chief if you ever want to ride the chubby train again, k? Rawr.
The responses are coming in as we speak, and so far they seem overwhelmingly positive, whatever the intent of the original message. So check them out! And here’s a list of other celebrities on Twitter, and a partial, Buscemi-less list of who’s real/fake.)

The first link at the end there lists @steve_buscemi as a real person to follow.
And thus my odd, unexplainable hardcore crush on Steve Buscemi gets even more hardcore….and atleast a little explainable, lol.
My longstanding non-sexual crush on Steve Buscemi continues.
A few pages in he says “Steve Buscemi may not always get up when he needs to get up, but he always gets down when he needs to get down.” I can NOT wipe the smile off my face about that! If I ever got words tattooed on me those would be them.
Anybody know if it’s a line from a movie or something?
Why was his account suspended?
