It’s like the humor I experienced yesterday where I was working with a group of people, and a couple of the women mentioned they weighed themselves all the time. One of them said she wished she wasn’t so ruled by the number on the scale. Then, like 30 seconds later, she was talking about how much she loved the show The Biggest Loser.

We are such creatures of paradox.

I’m just glad that the onion is a humor site and that thier stories aren’t true…but maybe that was your point Mo?

I find it kind of unsetteling still, only because it reminds me of when I was younger and in middle school-mid highschool days before I started to accept my body. I would fast for like 4 days at a time and when I got hungry and looked for food sometimes I would smack myself in the face to deter myself.

Good lord writing this now I can’t even believe I used to be like that.
