In terms of the men's pants thing...
It's going away. Take a walk down to your local college campus and check out men's butts.
you'll find that most waistlines have crept above the butt and sit at the hips. Pants are still baggy and some of the indie kids have developed a fascination with late 80s tight pants.

The under-the-butt-thing is mostly only in among freshmen, certain black men, and wiggers (white boys that think they're black).

That was so good! I'm finding myself experiencing a small taste of that wedding dress frustration, because I've recently been sized out of many stores and catalogs...I'm doing a super casual white sundress deal, and I found a few things that were PERFECT, only to look at the size charts and find out that it's impossible.

However, I've recently been looking at all kinds of awesome online plus-size boutiques and the like, and I'm finding some great options.

One thing that frustrates me, though: in some stores that carry straight- and plus-sizes, I hate that some of the dresses that I love in straight sizes don't come in plus sizes.

I enjoyed the commentary, esp. about wedding dress samples all being in your thin friend's size. I wear anything between a 10 and a 14, but I pretty round and very short.

The last time I went shopping, I tried on probably 50 different pieces and bought five.

My thin girlfriend tires on a lot of stuff, too, but it really seems like so many more things look good on her. Pants pockest don't do that weird pop-out thing (this happens to me occasionally, even with some pants that are too loose!) and everything looks smashing tucked in.

I just bought a belt for the first time in YEARS. I wore it Monday. With a tucked in shirt!

Thanks, Mo - I want to hear it, at least!

(Part of me just wanted to leave a comment saying "podcast podcast podcast" but I thought you might kick me off the site.)
