I think his wife is lovely. Those people on Oh No They Didn’t are about as bright as a 10 watt bulb and just as shallow as the kiddie pool. But I’ve heard fans of Interpol’s bassist Carlos D. talk smack about him liking “the fatties”. (I swear, if someone called me fattie they’d have a fat lip).

I confess I had to look this guy up because I’d no idea who Clive Owen is. Turns out he’s sort of a HITG for me. I’ve seen him in lots of stuff, but just didn’t know his name.

This column and cited comments reminded me of one of my favorite quotes, “Mythbuster” Adam Savage, on the subject of comment trolls:
“Well, I equate the web to like being in rush hour traffic. Everyone is really bold inside their box and they’re just giving the finger out the window.”

Tee: That woman is TOTALLY his wife, Sarah-Jane Fenton. The pictures of them on IMDB are CLEARLY the same woman, just a few kilos heavier and obviously not in red-carpet hair and makeup, etc. And yes, she does look like she's gained a bit of weight in the twelve years they've been together (and after having two children). Oh no, clearly Clive didn't get the memo that after getting a bit of success in Hollywood, it's ok to dump your partner to trade in for a newer model. His ratings just went up heaps in my books, by the way.

That woman is NOT his wife. I’m guessing it’s his assistant. Go to imdb.com and look at pictures of her, they do not look the same.

She’s really cute. I don’t know why people are making those disparaging remarks. What’s the difference if he’s married to a model or a plain Jane? Not everyone is fixated on a “perfect” appearance.

Sounds like the blog is on a mission of putting people down anyway. Not my kind of place, that’s for sure.
