The Truth About Size Zero
A Australian show called The Truth About Size Zero shows a woman named Louise Redknapp dieting herself down from a size 4 to a size 0 (in U.S. sizes) in 30 days. But don’t worry—she didn’t do it because it’s a good idea. She did it because it’s a terrible idea.
Aside from that, The Truth About Size Zero really showed how a woman can go from a healthy glowing woman, to one that is skeletal complete with horribly sunken eyes and cheeks. Even though Louise was starting to really struggle in the last week or so, she plugged on to show young girls who feel the need to be skinny, that it’s not worth it.
Throughout this process Louise is closely monitored by celebrity nutritionist Dr Adam Carey who warns her of the dangers of crash dieting. Dr Carey says: “I think the current vogue is macabre. I think it is obscene and it is very unhealthy.”
In looking for more information about the show, I see that it has already been filmed, and she’s back to a size four.
Explaining why she embarked on a mission to become stick thin, she said: “I grew up in the entertainment industry. I’ve always felt even at a size 8 that I’ve never been quite skinny enough.
Hopefully she’s been able to let go of that feeling. As you can see from her pictures, she’s a really gorgeous size four.

The Truth About Size Zero was a UK doco (of sorts)… not Australian. But it did just air in Australia, An Louise Redknapp is a UK singer/tv host.
This is the same idea of Dawn Porter’s Super Slim Me. Someone mentioned her before and she was in Rachael Ray’s show last week (I know! don’t judge me).

It’s entirely possible that Ms Redknapp will add more pounds to the size four, because of the way she dieted. Her body will likely send her hunger signals until she regains a few pounds more, as insurance against the possibility that she might try the experiment again. And let’s hope she hasn’t also damaged her childbearing capacity.
