New Digs
Well, what do you think? New URL, new design, new bios, new about page, new place to say hi. There’s even a greatest hits page. I’m still working the kinks out, but isn’t it fabulous?
Mad props to the amazing Amy for the site design and Evan Carother, who designed the logo. I also have been using my friend Dan Gordon-Levitt‘s cookie picture for ages, and want to give him an overdue shoutout. While I’m at it, shoutouts to Weetabix and anne, who have been wonderful co-contributors and instrumental in getting this new incarnation off the ground.

Wow, great new design! I love the logo & I’m wasting way too much time hitting refresh to read all the different slogans at the top.

How’d you all manage to keep it a surprise for so long? And, just for the sake of administration, what are we doing about archives?

Thank you, thank you! It’s been hard not to squee as the design has come together. Right now there is no easy way to import archives from the “new Blogger” (which Blogger automatically “upgraded” us to) into WordPress. So we’re waiting until someone writes a module that allows us to do it. It will happen eventually; it’s not happening immediately.
